The ‘Made in Bangladesh’ dream has come into reality through the manufacturing of cars in Bangladesh.

The South Korean automobile giant Hyundai Motor Company awarded Fair Technology Ltd. with Bangladesh’s strategic partnership rights. Under this partnership, Fair Technology became the manufacturer, authorized distributor for Hyundai passenger vehicles and after-sales service provider in Bangladesh. The two companies joined hands to provide a seamless customer experience with automotive products and services to customers in Bangladesh.

In 2021, Fair Technology, in collaboration with Korean automobile giant Hyundai, jointly announced the setup of a Hyundai manufacturing plant in Bangladesh. In January 2023, a state-of-the-art Hyundai manufacturing plant was inaugurated at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park, Kaliakoir, Gazipur. Its mission is to provide affordable brand-new passenger vehicles to customers. The company is producing the most popular SUVs, e.g., CRETA, CRETA Grand, and TUCSON, and planning for Sedans and MPVs from Hyundai’s most recent models.

Fair Technology Ltd. has already built many world-class sales and service centers in Dhaka, Chattogram, and Bogura incorporating Hyundai’s corporate identity as part of its commitment to customer satisfaction.

Fair Technology Ltd. has already achieved the number one position for manufacturing brand-new passenger vehicles in Bangladesh, in line with the policy of the Government of Bangladesh, thus increasing localization, creating jobs, and increasing the number of skilled workers.
